This is not your ordinary smoothie - it’s a creamy, delicious blend of sweet apples and warming cinnamon + topped with freshly sautéed apples so it’s a WARM serving smoothie, just like APPLE CRUMBLE!! Not to mention it’s packed with healthy fats, plant protein and complex carbs which is PERFECT as a breakfast or afternoon snack!!
APPLE CRUMBLE BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:
Warm Sautéed apple:
1 small apple (around 1.5 cup chopped)
1/4 cup water
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Apple Crumble SmoothieÂ
1 small apple, chopped
1 1/4 cups almond milk
3 tbsp Vanilla Creme Plant Protein
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pitted medjool date
2 tbsp ground flax
Served with granola or muesli of choice (I used crunchy muesli), fresh blueberries, freeze-dried raspberries and the warmed sautéed apples

Method:
- Place 1 apple, water cinnamon into a small pot and cook over a low heat for 5 minutes until softened.
- Blend together 1 apple, almond milk, Protein powder, cinnamon, vanilla and date + optional add-ins until smooth and creamy
- Top the smoothie with the fresh fruits, warmed apples and muesli of choice .
