It is officially winter, and I don’t know about you, but that means a little extra indulgence to warm the soul and tummy (in a healthy way...of course). This 1-minute Chocolate-Coffee Mug Cake recipe by @nourishtoflourishsyd has got us drooling and is so easy to make!
This 1-serve, 1-minute mug cake is so indulgent - gooey Hazelnut choc centre within soft moist choc-coffee flavoured cake 😍 I used cold-brewed coffee to enhance the choc flavour but you can use any mylk :) It’s super easy to make so there’s no excuse not to make it, especially if you’re a choc lover!! And the best serving idea is adding a scoop of ice-cream on the warm mug cake and let it melt into the cake 😍
1-minute CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
1 mug serve
2 tbsp Buckwheat flour @honesttogoodnessau
1 tbsp @vivonue CocoBliss Plant Protein
1 tbsp sugar (I used stevia @nirvanahealthproducts)
1 tbsp raw cacao
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp oil
3 tbsp Cold Pressed Performance Coffee @beforeyouspeakcoffee (or milk + 1 tsp instant coffee)
1 tbsp Hazelnut spread @pana_organic or Nutella (or chocolate chips)
- Mix everything except spread or choc chips in a mug, then put the spread or choc in the centre.
- Microwave for 1 minute (1000 watt) or until a toothpick comes out clean.
